Meet The Off Leash K9 Team
Alyssa De La Cuba - Trainer
Alyssa has been passionately working with dogs since childhood! She started out working for a local animal hospital as a dog walker, volunteering her time to learn as much as she and to gain valuable experience. Alyssa then went on to study Animal Behavior and received her Bachelors of Science degree at Olivet Nazarene University.
During her senior year at college, Alyssa was lucky enough to be presented with an internship for a local trainer, where she continued to build her strong training foundation. She then found Off Leash K9 Training, and after going through their intense certification program has become a fantastic addition to the Chicago team!
Matthew Meneses - Trainer
Matthew Meneses was born and raised in Chicago! While completing his associates of science degree he realized that his part-time dog handler position would become his lifelong passion. Matthew spent four years studying and employing various methodologies before being hired by Off Leash K9 Training and completing our certification program. We’re excited to welcome Matthew to the team!
Carson Price - Trainer
Carson has always had a love and passion for dogs. His background includes working alongside K9s with the Military Police in the United States Army and being mentored by various dog trainers across the U.S. After Carson completed his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology at Illinois State University, he decided to follow his dream and apply for a position with Off Leash K9 and completed the intense Off Leash K9 Training certification program. We’re excited to have Carson join the Chicago team!
Lydia Bittner - Trainer
Lydia has been a dog lover since she was a very young child and attended her first dog training class at 7 years old. Her love for animals led her to work with horses and dogs in a variety of farm environments. Her experience training farm dogs and dog sitting inspired her to study dog training full time.
After spending several years training dogs privately and in a group class setting she found Off Leash K9 Training and has not looked back. She is excited to be a part of our Chicago team!
Sam Sexton - Trainer
Sam took an interest in training animals at a young age. At 9 years old, she trained her cat to do obedience and full agility courses. Horses followed close behind, as well as local stray dogs. While Sam initially had plans to go into vet school, her love for rescue and training was stronger. She began rescuing and training dogs to help find them permanent homes.
Sam then watched a couple dogs with moderate to severe behavior issues go through our program. After seeing the results first-hand, she knew she wanted in! Sam has since completed our intense Off Leash K9 Training certification program and is an awesome addition to our Chicago team!
Nick White is the Owner and Founder of Off Leash K9 Training. Nick is a former US Marine and former US Secret Service. He currently has over 130+ dog training locations throughout the United States.
Nick is globally recognized as being one of the top dog trainers in the world. He has 2 official world records in off leash obedience, named on Wikipedia as one of the top 20 dog trainers in the world, recently named top 10 trainer in the world by bestdogtrainers.org, has been featured in many magazines and shows, and he is regularly requested by the top celebrities and athletes! He has been called upon by people such as actor Ryan Reynolds, WWE’s John Cena, MLB All Star Max Scherzer, UFC World Champion Jon “Bones” Jones, and many more!
